Our pirate-themed launch for issue #2 of Violet Miranda: Girl Pirate was a Boat-load of fun. Here are some photos. We'll post more as people send them to us--there were a lot of cameras present...
Pull up your breeches, strap on your cutlasses, dust off your black hearts, and swagger over to The Boat to help Kiss Machine plunder all the love from Valentine's Day.
That's right, me hearties, we're throwin' a pirate-themed anti-Valentines party to launch the second issue of Violet Miranda:
Girl Pirate.
On board our scurvy vessel, landlubbers can slake their thirst with some fine grog, while Peg-Leg and the Floozie play pirate songs and swashbuckling movies are screened.

A graphic novel in four parts
Continuing the girls' story where issue #1 left off, Violet Miranda and her best friend, Elsa Bonnet, lost everything when the son of their archenemy looted the idyllic island they called home, killed their fathers, and kidnapped the girls and their mothers.
Columnist Tamara Faith Berger's sexy first novel, Lie With Me, has been adapted to film! The movie, directed by Clement Virgo, opens in theatres on November 18: "Lie With Me explores the life of a young woman obsessed with the freedom of physical pleasure.
