The Philosophy Behind Kiss Machine

Kiss Machine sprang from Toronto's tiny Petrified Press, and has been running out of nowhere since 1996. The little mag is a foray into independent art, literary culture, and political views. In an effort to highlight the surrealism inherent in day-to-day life, each issue features two seemingly discordant themes, which are determined in-part by our contributors.

We showcase work, politics and culture generated by people who think for themselves. Each issue contains regular columns, as well as work by guests specific to the themes. Surreal visual art and fiction relating to each issue's dual themes will be interspersed with interviews, essays, and articles.

The format is 8 1/2" x 14" folded in half, perfect-bound spine, with a glossy cover.
