Inflatable Rooster

This rooster ride was just outside the area of Havana known as "Old Havana." It was very odd to see as things like this are only provided only for tourists' amusement. Cubans are not allowed into this place, just as they are not allowed on the beaches of Varadero, the big resort area. The parks and playgrounds for Cubans were abandoned long ago and the kids play with crude homemade toys in the streets of the city. Cuban children were standing on the other side of the fence watching the tourist kids have fun on the rooster ride.
